WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THEME FOR A BATHROOM?
My mother is vouchsafing me redecorate a bathroom. What have been a little themes which would demeanour good, as well as what tone should we paint a bathroom?

White; toilet, sink, bath tub, shower. Yep that’s my theme.
Go with the ocean theme. Blues, greens, dolphins, whales, etc…
we are going old fashion. older pictures exc.
Mine is sand castles. I have ceramic sand castles and stuff like that I also have a little sand box with a small bucket and a little rake so people that are sitting on the pot can play with something while doing their thing. I have had a lot of nice comments for that.

Go Crazy, pick a color that you like, something that draws your attention or a color that you wear a lot of. Then make it fun, if you can find a theme that coordinates with the color then go for it but pick the color first. I always try to paint my rooms a color that best suites what they are used for. A bathroom in my book has to be alive enough to wake me up in the morning so i want something cheerful and not blah!! Depends on what kind of style you like too. Search the internet and check out pictures of bathroom redos and find something you love, then see what you can do to recreate it!!

Either fish or dolphins….very easy to coordinate everything…
I have three bathrooms; #1 is tropical fish wallpaper with an oar for a towel holder; sea shells in some shelves; ceramic fish in the window; and netting for the curtin; lantern hanging from the celing;
2. Is old fashioned; wallpaper design is old time bath labels;
shower curain to match; old time jars in window sill and on back of toilet;
3 is green leaved wallpaper; with parrots and pictures of jungle cats .
Classy,classic and spa like. In otherwords, no theme at least not in the master. If you want to play with a child’s or guest bath, that’s different.
Sonya, I dont know what the theme of the rest of the home is, but I think you would like to tie it in someway.
I have found lately that remodeling my home, less is more. I have really done a way with a lot of the nicnacky stuff that I have had for years, so I carried that into the bathroom, it is in creams, golds, browns and blacks….very calm for bubble bathes or for the daily duty…..

Blue, green, white, water colors! That’s my favorite.
Kid’s bathroom yellow and blue and white with rubber duckies!
I would go with something relaxing. Put up candles..White curtains would look nice.
my favorite theme is nautical, beach or sea.
I recently painted my bathroom walls a dark blue and all the trim and cabinets a pure white. Then I hung a white shower curtain that has a blue stripe at the bottom. I put a picture of a lighthouse in a white frame on the wall and another black and white of a ship (also in a white frame) on the wall over the door. It looks very sharp. Lots of white towels and a plaint non-ruffled white window curtain finish off the look.
