Are you kidding me…a device to prevent “shoe” bombs?? You are 1000’s of times more likely to be killed driving a car than from a shoe bomb. The whole scam is just another way to get the “sheeple” to fall in line and allow the government to control every aspect of our lives. What is next…an underwear scanner called the Magundies? Wake up people before it is too late!!!!!!

I don’t know what planet you reside on now but you might want to visit earth occasionally. It isn’t the media scaring us it’s the nut jobs of the middle east that have plans to destroy us. Pick your side!!!

Worlld airports should follow the example of Israel and properly and adequately look after safety of its passengers.

they should put it together with the body metal detector..as a stand maybe…saves them 1.6 secs per person

This is a great piece of equipment but would it catch explosives such as those hidden by the “shoe bomber”?
They were non metallic and that is the greatest fear today. Just wondering. It’s still a wonderful advance as long as there is no radiation going into our feet, and my guess is that it’s minimal, if there is any.

In my country we inject mercury into their blood when they are born so as to keep their brains from developing enough to rebel. Much cheaper. In the future no one will be smart enough to do anything but work the forced labor camps. No rebellion against tyranny (aka terrorism) for us Yay! Then the media wont have to make up scary stories for us to beg the leaders to trade freedoms for security. Fear is such a great flaw to exploit in humans! And its good for the pharma economy!

Great work Israel. Continue to invent better technologies to save lives. Sad that this is required, but at least your country looks for solutions.

what about the state sponsored killing happening right now? the powers that be have no problem killing people until the bodys stack up to the ceiling, as long as “they” are doing the killing. that acknowledged, airports are just the first step. i would rather not be constantly harrased, violated, microchiped, given brain tumors, drink toxic heavy metals in my water, or killed by a bunch of arab actors employed by my own country. maybe i should look for a house on the moon.

  13. screenqwen1 on March 15th, 2010 at 7:06 pm

@AENIMA42069 better diminished so called rightd than dead people.

It’s amazing there haven’t been babies born with cancer yet from all the radiation we as a society are being exposed to from head to toe!

I don’t take off my shoes for any TSA monkey. I don’t empty my pockets, don’t turn on my cell -phone or open my computer. I don’t package my toiletries in zip-lock bags and I don’t turn over my nail clippers. How do I do it? Simple - I don’t travel on any commercial airlines. TSA and DHS can kiss my ass! The airlines likewise. I don’t have to pay $35 for each piece of checked baggage, don’t have to buy $5 soft drinks and $3 pretzels, or rent a $5 pillow or blanket.

Free country? My ass we are

    So true.

  21. Alyeska134 on March 15th, 2010 at 10:37 pm

If that machine was used in American airports, it would save time.

  22. ISRAEL21cdotcom on March 15th, 2010 at 11:12 pm

It probably doesn’t effect the price of tickets significantly, if at all, but it does immediately shorten the time it takes to go through security and helps ensure everyone’s safety.

  23. GaryVonGary on March 16th, 2010 at 12:10 am

How much does this add to our flight tickets?

  24. p27159 on March 16th, 2010 at 12:59 am

Israel makes products that prevent terrorism, while Arabs continue to commit terrorist acts.

The tiny little country of Israel has contributed greatly to the world in the fields of medicine, electronics, etc. The large Arab/Muslim countries continue to give the world nothing but terrorism.

So, who are the good guys? The answer is an easy one.

  25. marsden43 on March 16th, 2010 at 1:18 am

It’s only my Naot - Israeli sandals that bleep going through the security!!!! Apparently they have a metal bar running through the sole.
