    No. The Cat Scan is different from an MRI. A CT uses radiation to make an image when an MRI uses a magnetic radio frequencies, no radiation involved with MRI. MRI goes into more detail.

    You don’t need to be sedated for this. It is not the coffin effect with an MRI.
